Welcome to KilHat Tees. By using kilhattees.us or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

About us

KilHat Tees is a small family-run online store based in Texas, operated by Killian and Hannah Trahan. We sell apparel, accessories, and gift items using print-on-demand and direct-ship partners.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order on this site.

Account responsibilities

If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login information secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at support@kilhattees.us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Orders and pricing

• All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time without notice.
• We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable inventory.
• If we cancel an order you’ve already paid for, we’ll refund you in full.

Product descriptions and images

We do our best to show our products accurately, but colors, sizing, and finishes may vary slightly between what you see on screen and the final item. Slight variations are normal for print-on-demand goods and are not considered defects.

Shipping, refunds, and returns

Shipping and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund & Return Policy. By placing an order, you agree to those policies.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — logos, designs, graphics, text, photographs, and the KilHat Tees brand — is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or commercially use any of our content or designs without our written permission.

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, email support@kilhattees.us with details and we will review promptly.

Acceptable use

When using our site, you agree NOT to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to interfere with the site’s security or operation
• Scrape, copy, or republish our content or product images
• Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access the site (other than legitimate search engine indexing)
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or our staff

User-submitted content

If you leave a product review, comment, or other content on our site, you grant KilHat Tees a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content on our site and in our marketing. You’re responsible for what you post and agree not to post anything illegal, abusive, or that violates someone else’s rights.

Donations

Any donations made through links on our site (such as the PayPal button supporting Hannah’s Oxford fund) are personal contributions to support the founders. They are not tax-deductible, as KilHat Tees is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Third-party services

We use third-party services for fulfillment (Printify), payments (Stripe, PayPal, and others), and other functions. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, KilHat Tees, its owners, and its partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless KilHat Tees and its owners from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

A few things to do after you publish these:

1. Set up the support@kilhattees.us inbox before you go live with these policies — they all reference it. Most domain registrars and email hosts can forward it to your personal Gmail in a couple of minutes.
2. Add a checkbox at checkout that says “I agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy” with links. WooCommerce has a built-in setting for this under WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy.
3. Add size charts to your apparel product pages — the Refund Policy references them, and they cut return requests dramatically. Printify provides these for every product in their catalog.
4. Consider a simple cookie banner plugin (CookieYes and Complianz both have free tiers) so the Privacy Policy is fully backed up by actual consent capture.

Standard disclaimer: I’m not a lawyer and these are starter templates, not legal advice. They cover the vast majority of small ecommerce situations, but if KilHat Tees grows past hobby-revenue territory, get a Texas-based business attorney to review.
